Bialik seeks dynamic and passionate Jewish Studies classroom teachers to join our exemplary Jewish Studies faculty at our midtown Toronto Viewmount Branch.
Requirements include:
- Native or fluent Hebrew speakers.
- Relevant experience and/or credentials, qualified to teach in a Hebrew immersion environment.
- Collaborative, creative and flexible professionals with knowledge of, and experience to teach a curriculum that encompasses Hebrew language and literature, Bible and Jewish holidays.
- Ability to embody Jewish values, and to foster in our students a strong Jewish identity and a strong connection to Israel.
- Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships and effectively communicate with parents and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic.
- Organized and detail oriented.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in education
- OCT certification or equivalent
