General Studies

Bialik’s General Studies program follows the guidelines and expectations of the Ontario Ministry of Education, and emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving; communication and collaboration; and creativity and innovation.

We teach all subject areas, including language, math, science, social studies, French, health & physical education, and art. 

STEM and coding are integrated throughout the program.

Students enjoy a variety of field trips and presentations that enrich their educational experience.

Bialik participates each year in the Ontario Ministry’s Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) Assessments. Students in Grades 3 and 6 write these assessments, which give us an excellent measure by which to gauge student performance compared with their peers in other schools. Year after year, Bialik students impress by meeting and exceeding the provincial expectations.
