Thank You for an Extraordinary Day of Giving

Thank You for an Extraordinary Day of Giving

March 3, 2023

We are speechless. The incredible generosity of the Bialik community during our Day of Giving has left us feeling truly humbled and heartened. It’s remarkable to witness the Bialik community of parents, grandparents, students, staff, alumni and their families, joining hands to support our school.

The extraordinary power of our Bialik community rallied together on the Day of Giving to raise an amazing $472,406 in support of our school with a total of 879 donors.

The number of donors who participated is unprecedented! The Day of Giving, as part of our CommUNITY Campaign, is all about the people in this wonderful Bialik kehillah, working together to support our students and school. You did not just donate funds, but also gave your time, energy, and resources to help bridge the gap between tuition fees and the excellence Bialik is known for. This unified commitment is remarkable and enables us to create an environment where our students can grow and thrive.

This year, our fundraising efforts will go towards:

  • Facility enhancements at both branches — refreshing spaces in the buildings, outfitting classrooms, and providing supplies and materials for our growing number of students.
  • Educational innovation — bringing cutting-edge programming into our students’ classrooms and investing in professional development for teachers to advance our innovative practices and focus on students’ learning needs. With your help, we are ensuring our teachers have access to the latest ideas and engaging learning in Jewish and General Studies.
  • Ensuring a Bialik education is accessible to those families who rely on financial assistance programs. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of these students and inspiring them to lead vibrant and meaningful Jewish lives.

We want to thank our amazing volunteers and committee chairs. Your enthusiasm was infectious and the results of your hard work show in the broad participation of our community on Day of Giving. We are able to do all these great things with your support.

As we approach the celebration of Purim, we’re reminded of the need to take pride in our Jewish identity and the importance of being a part of something greater than ourselves. Seeing the number of people who support our school and work together as a united community really demonstrates this value in a beautiful way. We are beyond grateful for your continued dedication to our school and community at large. With your help, we’re not only providing the next generation with a great educational experience, but also setting the example for them to become true Mensches and accomplished Jewish leaders.

If you missed the Day of Giving but still want to be part of the CommUNITY Campaign, it’s not too late. You can go online to give at

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
