Mechanech is a Senior Division home room program in which teachers act as advisors and advocates delivering a values-based curriculum covering topics that relate to ethics and school-life issues. For students, the Mechanech teacher is someone with whom they can speak confidentially about any issues that may arise at school or at home. This is especially helpful when students have many different teachers for different subjects. They know they can go to their Mechanech for help and guidance, no matter what the subject may be.

This made-at-Bialik program helps students make the transition to adulthood, challenging them to think critically about ethics, social issues and engage in character building exercises.
