Bialik’s EQAO results top local schools
Every year, Grade 3 and 6 students in Ontario public schools participate in the province’s Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) testing. Bialik is the only GTA Jewish day school that participates in the assessment and publishes its results. It is one of the ways we hold ourselves accountable to our commitment to academic excellence, and to ensure we are delivering on our promise to prepare students for their future grades in the best ways possible.
Bialik students consistently achieve scores that exceed the results of Toronto and York Region schools in our catchment areas. In addition, our branches far outpace provincial averages. These results speak to our outstanding faculty and their delivery of a superb academic program.
The results reveal that:
- Our Grade 3 and Grade 6 scores in Math, Reading and Writing are as much as 13 percentage points higher than local schools.
- A total of 99% of students in Grade 6 at Bialik are meeting or exceeding the provincial average for Reading and Writing.
The results are even more impressive when considering that students at Bialik spend half of their school day on Jewish Studies. Please look at the charts for more information on our EQAO results.
