Before And After Care

In response to the growing need among parents of young children for extended supervision, Bialik is pleased to offer a Before and After School Care Program. The program runs from Monday to Friday; the morning session is 7:45am to 8:45am and the afternoon begins at 3:45pm for kindergarten students, and 4:00pm for the rest of the school, and runs until 6:00pm. Care is also offered on PD days and during Passover break. Parents can send their children for the entire program or select specific hours and/or days. We provide peanut and nut free snacks, supervised indoor and outdoor play, story telling and crafts. There is also a supervised area in which the children can do their homework.

The program is open to all students at Bialik, from Junior Kindergarten to grade eight. It is operated by Sabrina Barczynski, Bialik's registrar, with the assistance of Jaimie Kudlats, a Preschool teacher. PTA ‘After 4’

The PTA’s ‘After 4’ program of activities is fun for students, convenient for families and great for school spirit.

‘After 4’ offers all types of courses, including art, drama, ‘Mad Science,’ and physical activities, such as karate, tennis, yoga, dance, bootcamp and court sports. The activities are led by respected children’s programmers who are among the best in the city. We run three After 4 sessions per year, Winter, Fall and Spring, so that students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of program offerings.

‘After 4’ is run by our PTA and is available to all Bialik students from Junior Kindergarten through grade 6.  All proceeds from the After 4 program are used to support the important work of Bialik's PTA.
